The weighted average cost of capital (WACC) reflects the cost for an undertaking to obtain funding, partly from its shareholders (equity) and partly from third parties (debts). This cost is used to determine the regulated prices of operators with significant market power.

Applicable regulatory framework

The decision of 23 July 2019 establishes the weighted average cost of capital (WACC) used in all tariff decisions taken by BIPT as of 1 October 2019.
