In a world that is becoming more and more digital Europe cannot afford to lag behind. That is why Europe has formulated in its Digital Decade Policy Programme specific objectives for the core areas digital skills, digital infrastructure and digital transformation of businesses and public services.
The Belgium country report just published shows that regarding digital infrastructure our country stands out in superfast fixed network coverage and that there is an impressive progress in 5G coverage.
However, important points of interest are the lesser coverage in thinly populated areas as well as fibre coverage.
