This decision of the CRC (and its corrigendum) concludes that Proximus, Telenet, Brutélé and Nethys have significant market power on the wholesale markets for broadband and television. Therefore, a certain number of obligations are imposed on these operators, in particular the obligation to open their networks to competing operators.
Telenet, Brutélé and Nethys lodged an appeal against this decision. These appeals were rejected by the Brussels Court of Appeal on 4 September 2019.
