Today the telecom watchdog releases its report on the impact of a potential fourth mobile network operator.
That report has been commissioned by the Vice-premier and Minister of Telecommunications, Alexander De Croo, after interest was affirmed to become an active fourth mobile network operator on the Belgian market.
The federal government is currently investigating whether the allocation of spectrum to a fourth mobile operator would, in time, have a positive effect on the competition and consumer well-being on the market for mobile telephony.
