Belgians use more and more data via fixed internet, 251 GB/month on average, and are increasingly using a fixed broadband line for that.
By the end of 2022, the number of fixed broadband lines passed the 5 million mark, with optical fibre lines with gigabit speeds experiencing the strongest growth.
Only residential fixed broadband customers continued to grow in 2022, with television and fixed telephony continuing to lose ground. In 2020, 64% of bundles were convergent offers (+5 pp) mixing fixed and mobile services.
