This decision aims at assessing the necessity to provide alternative operators with a wholesale service allowing them to duplicate the secured access service to shared numbers provided by Belgacom, given its non-discrimination obligation.
Another decision was taken on that matter on 8 November 2006 and aims at obliging Belgacom to adapt its way to manage number blocks with shared numbers in order to make sure that its obligations regarding call termination are met in a fair and reasonable manner.
