This decision designates Belgacom (now: Proximus) as having significant market power and imposes a series of obligations to fulfil on the operator.

In a judgement of 1 June 2007, the Brussels Court of Appeal rejected the bulk of the application for annulment brought by Belgacom against this decision. The appeal in cassation lodged by Belgacom against the judgement of the Court of Appeal was rejected.
